Happy to say the macOS standalone, downloadable desktop version of OmniGeometry is very slick! We are still waiting for feedback from early testers of the standalone version of OmniGeometry, then putting together the final release versioned 1.3.5.
This is an important milestone, and I am very happy to say that this will be a very professional feeling and looking, snappy application.
We have spent a lot of time fine tuning and optimizing our code to be efficient, lightweight and usable on many platforms. The standalone version is a testament of over 9 years of user feedback and attention to detail in development. No other can do what OmniGeometry does, and we are happy to deliver such an awesome program.
You have to see it in order to understand it. (trial versions are coming!)
I’m stoked about the results, the downloadable version is a really slick and stylish, performant application that delivers on the purpose of recursing sacred geometry patterns in rapid successive iterations, enabling you to express organic, machine-like, hyperdimensional math in visually stunning fractal forms, right before your eyes and while you are in total control.
Release plans
We are aiming for release of the macOS version within the next two weeks.
Existing users with lifetime license will receive the downloadable version as promised, included in the lifetime license cost. The current web version will stay online for the quarterly year subscriptions. New users can get it by purchasing the lifetime license.
First we will launch the macOS version of the desktop app, and the Windows version soon after.
This way you can run OmniGeometry in a browser and also upgrade to the more professional, desktop version of OmniGeometry.
After the release
Much more features are going to be only developed for the desktop version, as the web version limits what we can do. The downloadable version offers more professional feel, a more unified feeling to the application. Faster export of frame sequences, and promising direct movie export in the upcoming point releases, and much more.
Excited to finally soon launch this application for people to download and experience!
