Hello, Sakari here, lead developer of OmniGeometry.
I’m happy to say that the downloadable version of OmniGeometry is getting close to being finished! We should have the macOS version soon enough for some selected users to test, and release that later this month. Windows version will come soon after that, I just need to get a Windows development environment setup for myself and make sure the Windows version is up to our standards also.
I’ve made a progress update video demonstrating usage of the standalone, downloadable version, showcasing a method to create beautiful , perfectly distanced scaled animations utilizing the Step One Frame -animation feature:
In this video I am using the standalone downloadable version, so you can see it is already very close to finished state. There are still some minor things to tweak, but we are very close to getting the first release out.
Releasing macOS version first
Just to make things more simple and to get the application out during this month, we will be focusing on the macOS version first, as it’s the platform I and most designers are already running. The Windows version will come shortly after, it still takes some platform specific effort to make happen, so we will focus on that right after we have got the macOS version out for our users to test and run with.
Thank you for your patience
I want to thank you personally all the support still we’ve been getting and the feedback we’ve got from you, we have so many people telling us that you love our software and that really makes me happy to hear, this is a project of love and passion, and we hope to continue making it even better in the future.
Anyway, check out the video, and hopefully you will soon have your hands on the downloadable version!
Word out, Sakari @ OmniGeometry.com
